“Laureate Professor Nicholas Talley is a world renowned Neurogastroenterologist and author. He’s known by medical students across Australia and around the world for co-creating the bible of clinical examination in Talley and O’Connor’s Clinical Examination. This is just one of his many publications, with additional textbooks and over 1000 papers to his name. His current research focuses on neurogastroenterology and functional gut diseases including the role of inflammation and the microbiome.
On top of his work as an author and in clinical practice, Prof Talley has worked as Editor-in-Chief of the MJA, in Pro-Vice Chancellor roles and as President of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.”
